Empowering Educators: The Third Final Event held by IIS “Marini Gioia”
On February 10, 2025, IIS “Marini Gioia” hosted the third of five final events as part of the STRET project. The the event was titled "Bringing Europe into Our Classrooms," and focused on sharing key insights and outcomes from the school's participation in the project, reflecting on the positive impact of international collaboration and training.
The event brought together teachers from IIS “Marini Gioia,” including educators from ISIS Comite, who have been part of the school since September. Participants had the opportunity to discuss the significant benefits of the project, with particular emphasis on the enriching exchange with Macedonian educators. The session provided a platform for teachers to reflect on how the project helped broaden their perspectives on teaching methodologies, foster international collaboration, and enhance their professional skills.
One of the highlights of the event was the official presentation of the STRET Teacher Toolkit, developed within the project to equip educators with resources for integrating social entrepreneurship, philanthropy, and innovative teaching methods into their classrooms. The toolkit is designed to help teachers implement these concepts and inspire an entrepreneurial mindset among their students.
In addition to the toolkit presentation, the session included a lively discussion on how the experiences and learnings from the project can be integrated into school practices, promoting innovation and intercultural dialogue.
To further extend the impact of the project, IIS “Marini Gioia” announced plans for a Spritz Dissemination session to take place in early March. This follow-up event will focus on sharing best practices, exploring future applications of the training, and encouraging greater participation in European initiatives.
This event marked the third of five final events taking place across North Macedonia, Lithuania, Romania, and Italy as part of the Students Today – Responsible Entrepreneurs Tomorrow project. Stay tuned for more updates as the STRET project continues to foster international collaboration and professional growth in the education sector.
