Job shadowing activity: Successful Completion of the Second Mobility

The teachers from SUGS Rade Jovchevski Korchagin, Tatjana Golcheva and Lidija Stojcheva were the second group of teachers who did their job shadowing in the lovely Romania and they indeed had a full agenda from 1st to 7th of June. The hosts for the activities were Dimitrie Mangeron Technological High School and The HUB. The trip included not only classes observation and cultural exchange, but practical work where our teachers took the role of bakers and learned how to create airplane parts and how everything functions in a factory, provided by the Aerostar company.

At The HUB in Iashi, they explored various educational aspects of a program designed for students under 18. With 125 students enrolled, The HUB offers classes and activities focused on developing both hard and soft skills. Sessions are held on weekends to fit around regular school schedules, ensuring high participation. University student volunteers play a crucial role in mentoring and teaching the younger students.

The second part of their job shadowing took place at Dimitrie Mangeron High School in Bacău, Romania, which serves 1,250 students. The school offers a wide range of programs, including economy, technical education, mechanics, and culinary arts. It also provides practical classes tailored to each field of study and accommodates students from other parts of Romania, Moldova, and Ukraine in its dormitory, all free of charge.

Our Macedonian teachers observed many classes, including Romanian literature, economy, and IT. They also saw the latest technologies and tools in use. Additionally, they took part in practical work, such as baking and learning about airplane parts at the Aerostar factory. This experience offered a rich blend of educational insights and cultural exchange with students and the local community.
